They were great, and there music will live on for sure.
I still have the vinal of Roomers, I might just throw that one on the turntable tonight to bring back some old memories. not to mention, Stevey still looks good as hell for her age.lol

I'm abig fan of certain tracks. And some of them are a blast to play too. Shame Linsey was how he was, he was one hell of a guitarist. That solo in landslide...

I've had the dance, and rumors, for years. as well as some of the stevie nicks albums. They're really good. Learned some of their stuff on guitar too.

Rumors, mmmm. One of the first albums I ever purchased, actually. Great band...

Some of you act like Fleetwood Mac is dead. They released an album in 2004. Good grief! Lindsey just released a solo album back in October. He's not going any where.

Does anybody know any of their material before Buckingham and Nicks joined? This band has been around since about 1967 in one form or another. Sure, the period from 1975 and on was their most successful and popular, but I think they did some good stuff before then as well which seems to just get ignored.

hell yeah! Peter Green's stuff is fantastic! If you like blues that is. A three/four piece blues band playing mainly Chicago blues with a vengence! And the fourth member? Our Christine Perfect as she was then. Before she married the bassist. Oh god and Linsey's got a new album out, ugghh, after reading Mick Fleetwood's book... no thanks.

Fleetwood Mac is an awesome band. One of my favorite songs of all time is Little Lies.

What do you mean by no thanks when you talk about Lindsey's new album? Yes, early fleetwood Mac stuff is good too.

I prefer stevie's solo stuff to lindsey's although he is a great guitarist. and the peter green era stuff has some great classics such as black magic woman. Most people don't know that carlos santana didn't write that song. And i haven't heard the entire cd of the latest fleetwood mac but I know that cristine mmic v has left the group which is a shame. I liked her.

I did too, but I think she wanted them to be more pop-like, while Lindsey wanted to be more rock.
